Place I’ve traveled and why: St. Petersburg, Russia. I love to travel to unique and historical places. I studied abroad in St. Petersburg for 6 weeks which allowed me to immerse myself in the Russian culture and experience everything the complex nation has to offer.

Charity and why: ACES. The organization intertwines sports and academics. It is so cool to see professional and local sports athletes share their passions and help the students achieve personal and academic success!

My dream job: My dream job would to be a weather woman. Weather fascinates me and I have always wanted to be a broadcaster so it is the perfect combination.

On the top of my bucket list is: To travel to all 7 continents. 3 down, 4 to go!

My hero: My hero is my grandfather. His motto was, “Don’t waste your youthful years.” He taught me to get involved, expose myself to as much as possible, and go after my dreams and aspirations.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: My mother.

How do you define empowered? To be empowered is to have strength, self-determination and the courage to grasp your dreams and goals while trusting in your faith and your journey.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years, I see myself well established in my teacher career achieving a Master’s degree, happily married with a Labrador retriever, and traveling whenever possible!

Where are you in your family line up? I am the third of four children. I have an older sister, older brother, and twin sister Karmen. I was born 6 minutes before Karmen and I never let her forget it!

What was your favorite subject in school? History! I loved it so much I decided to major in it in college and make it a part of my career. My favorite part of teaching is being able to make history come alive and share my passion with my students.

Do you have any pets? I have two Labrador Retrievers- Bella and her daughter Reagan.

What is your favorite workout tip? Sprint! Sprinting burns more calories in less time.

My best beauty secret is: Always use heat protection spray. My wonderful stylist at Spalon Montage taught me the importance of protecting my hair to minimize the damage.

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? To spread my passion and love for the Vikings with the best fans in the NFL. I grew up idolizing the MVC. Never in a million years did I think I would one day be wearing the iconic costume and cheering on my favorite team!

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory as an MVC is cheering in negative 6 degree weather my rookie season at TCF Bank Stadium. My adrenaline was so high I don’t recall being cold!

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: Embrace every moment. Nothing lasts forever. Count your blessings and soak in every opportunity you are given.

Trips taken as an MVC: 2015 Hall of Fame Game - Canton, Ohio.
