Place I’ve traveled and why: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil because it was a special trip that my now husband and I got engaged on surrounded by our family.

Charity and why: Playworks, MN is one of my favorite charities because I used to work for them. I truly believe in their mission and got to witness first-hand the positive effects that play and the organization have on children.

My dream job: My dream job is to manage a dance studio.

On the top of my bucket list is: Ride an outdoor roller coaster through the mountains in Europe. They have some cool places to do this in Austria, Iceland or Italy that are on my list.

My hero: Michelle Obama is one of the woman I look up to as I love how she swept the nation with her "Let's Move" campaign. She is such an advocate for healthy living and I idealize that.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: My mom. She inspires me and pushes me to be a better version of myself every day. If I can be half the woman she is someday, I will have succeeded.

How do you define empowered? I define empowered as having the ability to be courageous, take risks, and be confident in order to achieve something bigger.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself with at least one child and starting the crazy parenting life.

Where are you in your family line up? I grew up an only child but now have an older half-sister. 

What was your favorite subject in school? My favorite subject in school was anything that involved communication and collaboration with others. In high school, that was more reading and writing classes. In college, it was small group communication, leadership, or business classes. Another favorite subject I will always remember is a foods of the world class that I took in high school, I can still make those cream cheese wontons!

Do you have any pets? Yes, a Bernese Mountain Dog named Zoey. She is currently 8 weeks old and is absolutely adorable. She is definitely the favorite in the family.

What is your favorite workout tip? My favorite workout tip is to make sure to have protein within 30 minutes of your workout. Recovery is just as important as the workout.

My best beauty secret is: My best beauty secret is to make sure you get enough sleep. They don't call it beauty sleep for nothing. :)

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? My dance teacher growing up was an MVC and I really looked up to her. She was a fantastic dancer and also a great person. After college, I decided to follow in her footsteps and try out.

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory as an MVC would have to be dancing at Wembley Stadium for the 2013 NFL International Game. It was such an amazing venue to dance at, a fun experience in London, and it ended with a VIKES WIN!

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: The most valued lesson I have learned as an MVC is to surround yourself with quality people. Life is truly more rewarding when you are surrounded with others who can lift you up and push you to be the best version of yourself.
