Quote: “Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion.” – Simon Sinek

Place I’ve traveled and why: Daytona Beach, Florida. The location definitely is not the nicest place I have been but the memories I made there with my college dance team will be ones that I will never forget.

Charity and why: Special Olympics Minnesota. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be an athlete, which is why I love this organization. They allow those with special needs to have an opportunity to compete, show their talents and accomplish goals. The courageous athletes remind us that being different is positive and that we can concur anything we set our minds to.

My dream job: NFL Cheerleading Coach!

On the top of my bucket list is: Travel to another country and experience a culture that is completely different than the mine.

My hero: My teammates! These 41 women are the hardest working, most dedicated and driven women I know who spend their spare time giving back to community and always have a positive attitude. It is amazing how we can all have such different backgrounds and lives but MVC brings us together. We work hard, inspire one another and help each other achieve our goals each and every day.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: A woman who has been inspiring me for years would have to be my dance teacher growing up, Michele Larkin-Wagner. She is a big factor not only in the dancer I am today but who I am as a person. Growing up with her guidance not only did she make sure I had pointed feet and straight legs, but she taught me how to be a kind, hardworking and driven individual who embraces her differences and reaches for the stars. She embraces her job every day and uses her talent to influence her dancers to grow up and conquer their dreams while being kind and giving people, a true leader for the youth.

How do you define empowered? I define empowered as having the strength and courage to do what you believe in and always having confidence in yourself.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years, I see myself owning a house, being a leader in my career and having two Old English Sheepdogs.

Where are you in your family line up? I am the second child of four. I have an older brother, who always reminds me he is the boss, and two younger sisters who might like my clothes a little too much.

What was your favorite subject in school? My favorite subject in school was always math. I liked solving equations and always having a right answer.

Do you have any pets? YES! I have a 3 year old English Sheepdog named Winston. You can usually catch him and I walking by the river and going out to eat at the local dog friendly patios, he goes everywhere with me!

What is your favorite workout tip? Incorporate variety in your workout and keep trying new exercises. It will make going to the gym more exciting and fun!

My best beauty secret is: HydraFacial’s from Expressions MD. They are AMAZING and leaves my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? I started dancing when I was 3 and ever since it has been a part of my life, it’s who I am. Once I was done with college dance team the question was always where do I dance now? MVC was the perfect platform to allow me to keep pursuing my dreams and allowing me to do what I love every single day. The friends are just an extra bonus.

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory as an MVC is standing on the goal line for the National Anthem at the start of every game. In that moment everyone’s differences are put aside, and all of U.S. Bank Stadium is united through our love of football. It is amazing to look up into the crowd and see all the fans and feel the joy and energy that the next few hours are about to bring. I will forever be grateful for being a part of these moments.

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: The most valued lesson I have learned so far as an MVC is to value and embrace every opportunity. As a part of our mission statement, it is an aspect that I try to incorporate into each day. Opportunities may seem hard at first but take on the challenge and concur it! You will only make yourself better!
