Place I’ve traveled and why: Old Lyme, Connecticut because my grandfather lived there and we would always go back there for family reunions.

Charity and why: Sammy's Sweets. It’s a business started by one of my dearest friends and her brother Sam who has autism. Their goal is to open a bakery where those with and without intellectual disabilities can work making delicious treats all while promoting acceptance and inclusion.

My dream job: My dream job for the moment would be to be a political science professor. I majored in political science in undergrad and am still very intrigued by politics. I think it would be incredible to have discussions with college age kids about their perceptions surrounding today's political climate.

On the top of my bucket list is: On the top of my bucket list is to meet all of the Supreme Court Justices.

My hero: My hero is my mother Sandy. I grew up with her as an amazing example of what hardwork and dedication truly is and I owe every success I have to her.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: Other than my mother, I would say I am very fortunate to be surrounded by many inspiring and influential women. Whether it be fellow law students, professors, or political leaders I have had a lot of strong and fierce women to look up to.

How do you define empowered? Empowered to me is giving someone the tools they need to succeed, whether it be confidence, reassurance, or education it is showing them that there is a path to success and it is attainable. That is empowerment.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I see myself graduated from law school and practicing law. I am not completely confident in what type of law I'll be practicing but maybe regulatory? I also definitely see myself becoming involved in politics again, whether it be working on a campaign or going back to school to get my masters.

Where are you in your family line up? I am the baby of the family. I have an older brother, Jake, who is four years older than I am.

What was your favorite subject in school? I have always loved literature class. Growing up with a mother as a librarian, books were always a staple around the house and I still read for pleasure whenever I can find the time.

Do you have any pets? Yes two pups, Mousse who is a Bichon, and Bentley who is an American Eskimo mix.

What is your favorite workout tip? My favorite workout tip is to mix things up. If you always keep your body guessing and try to never settle into a routine you will continue to see the results you are looking for.

My best beauty secret is: Wear sunscreen! Whether it is in your makeup or you apply it the old fashion way, taking care of your skin early on will not only give you beautiful skin later but it will ensure that you avoid unnecessary health risks.

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? First of alI, love dancing. I grew up dancing at a studio, Metro Dance Center, and then danced for the University of St. Thomas Dance Team so it was a natural transition to continue my dance career. Second, I wanted to be involved in an organization that uplifts and empowers strong women. I knew this was the perfect opportunity to surround myself with intelligent and inspirational women.

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory as an MVC would have to be home opener last season in the new U.S. Bank Stadium when we beat the Packers. I have never heard the stadium so loud, and the atmosphere was electric, I will never forget it.

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: The people that you surround yourself with truly will influence and effect your own life. If you spend time around incredible, talented and hardworking people you will start to see positive changes in your own life because of them.
