Place I’ve traveled and why: In the last year, I took a month to travel around Europe while I was still in school. I spent time visiting in Austria, Germany, Andorra, and Spain and learning about their different regions and cultures. I absolutely loved every country, however Spain stole my heart!

Charity and why: My favorite charity is the Minnesota Vikings Foundation. As cheerleaders, we have the opportunity to do a lot of work with this organization, and I have really enjoyed being able to give back to the community in this way.

My dream job:  I would love to have a job that works towards promoting small businesses and independent restaurants around the Twin Cities. There are so many amazing places around the area that aren't very well known to the general public! I would love to be able to work with these companies to get the word out about what makes them tick and what they have to offer to our community!

On the top of my bucket list is: Learn to surf... "Cowabunga!!!"

My hero: My heroes are both of my parents.  They have done so much for me in my upbringing, and I look up to the both of them in so many ways.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: An influential woman in my life is my previous dance teacher, Carol Anderson. Carol has known me since I was only about 3 years old, and has had a very large impact on my life ever since. I definitely would not have made it to the MVC without her!

How do you define empowered? To me being empowered means being strong, confident, persistent, and esteemed.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years, I would love to find myself reaching goals that I have for myself now, but more importantly healthy and happy with people that I love.

Where are you in your family line up?  I am the middle child! My sister is ten years younger than me, while my brother is ten years ahead of me! Because of this, I got to experience being a little sister for a while, as well as take on the role of an older sister which I am so lucky for.

What was your favorite subject in school? I absolutely loved my science classes! I think my teacher specifically had a lot to do with this, as I loved learning about anything from chemistry, to biology, genetics, and evolution, and everything in between!

Do you have any pets? I have always had pets growing up, so I don't think there will ever be a stage in my life where I don't have a pet! My family has a dog named Lady, and a very large cat named Bisou.  Secretly, I take a peek at animal shelter sites nearly every day just to keep my hopes up that I will have one of my own sometime soon!

What is your favorite workout tip? My #1 fitness tip is to be conscious about what you're fueling your body with. Total fitness is about 80% diet and 20% exercise; make sure to be eating whole foods full of nutrients that are good for your body!

My best beauty secret is: My best beauty secret is to drink a lot, a lot, A LOT of water! Not only will this help flush out any toxins you may be holding on to, but it also helps keep your energy up all day!

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? I decided to become an MVC after my little sister was part of the Junior Cheer Program.  At that time, I had the chance to go to a Vikings game, and was able to see the cheerleaders in game-day mode. I couldn't help but dream to be a part of the team someday. Two years later, I was honored to make that dream come true as a part of the 2014 MVC team!

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory as an MVC will always be the national anthem during the games. As cheesy as it is, I get all choked up and teary eyed EVERY TIME. I simply can't help it. But, there's no better way to start a game day than a good cry! ;)

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: My most valued lesson that I have learned as an MVC is to truly embrace every opportunity that is presented to you. There is always something new to learn, amazing people to meet, and experiences to take part in. I am genuinely grateful for all of the opportunities we all receive as a part of the Vikings organization, and for all of the amazing women I get to call my teammates.
