Place I’ve traveled and why: Costa Rica was my favorite place because of the ocean and all the beautiful wild life and water falls.

Charity and why: Healing Haiti, because I traveled to Haiti with a dental team to do dentistry on children and the elderly. It was the most humbling experience thus far.

My dream job: My dream job would be to own a cat humane society because I fostered three cats of my own and thoroughly enjoyed it.

On the top of my bucket list is: I would love to travel to all 50 states.

My hero: My mother is my hero. She is my biggest fan and always supportive of my dreams and goals. She is always positive and makes me smile even when I am sad.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: My sister is inspiring to me. She is dedicated and puts full effort in everything she sets her mind to. She is also faith-filled and beautiful on the inside and out.

How do you define empowered? To me, Empowered means to go confidently in whichever direction you choose, with poise and dignity.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years I would love to be married and starting a family.

Where are you in your family line up? I am the oldest of two girls.

What was your favorite subject in school? I love to eat and socialize so gym and lunch were my favorite subjects.

Do you have any pets? I love animals! At my house I currently have 2 cats, Lola and Nelson, and a rabbit named Bunster.

What is your favorite workout tip? Do what you enjoy! In the summer time I love to go biking and roller blade.

My best beauty secret is: Always wear sunscreen and take care of your skin. I personally love and find great benefit in a hydra-facial especially from Expressions MD.

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? I loved the organization and especially the Vikings. I am honored to be a part of a team with such ambitious women.

What is your favorite memory as an MVC? My favorite memory is an appearance I did last year for a special needs prom and cheered on the high schoolers walking down the red carpet at the grand march.

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: Enjoy every moment and never take anything for granted.
