Quote: “Everything is hard before it is easy” - Goethe

Place I’ve traveled and why: My favorite place I have traveled was to Cozumel, Mexico. It was my favorite trip because it was my first time out of the country. Along with my family, I did many cool activities, such as snorkeling on a catamaran, tubing in the ocean, and going on a pirate ship cruise. Cozumel was a place I will never forget, and I hope to go back soon!

Charity and why: I have always stayed involved in Feed My Starving Children. It is rewarding to be a part of the process and see how much of a difference I am actually making in the world.

My dream job: I look forward to being a future educator and guiding kids down the right path. Being a teacher has always been my dream job because the idea that I will one day have the opportunity to positively influence my student’s lives is very exciting. If I could take my job to the next level, I would love to travel to other countries and help kids grow and further their knowledge and development.

On the top of my bucket list is: #1 on my bucket list is to visit every state in the U.S. Each state has unique qualities that I would love to explore.

My hero: My parents are both my heroes. They have given me unconditional love and support throughout my entire life and cannot thank them enough.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: My three sisters have been a huge inspiration to me in their own way. I look up to each of them for different reasons, but most importantly, they have all followed their dreams and have urged me to do the same.

How do you define empowered? Being empowered means you are both confident and feel completely in control of your life.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years, I hope to have a successful teaching career and a puppy of my own!

Where are you in your family line up? I am lucky number three out of four girls!

What was your favorite subject in school? The older I grew, the more I loved math, specifically algebra, I always loved a good challenge.

Do you have any pets? I have a dog named Lily! She is a 9-year-old Brittany Spaniel and still has as much energy as the day my family got her.

What is your favorite workout tip? My favorite workout tip is “Rest Later.” It is short and sweet but has a strong meaning behind it.

My best beauty secret is: My best beauty secret is to try and never sleep with make up on! It can become a bad habit and does not give your skin a chance to recover.

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? It has always been very important to me to chase my dreams, no matter how big. Auditioning to be an MVC brought me out of my comfort zone, but it is also something I would have always regretted not pursuing.

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: My most valued lesson I have learned is to look at every practice as a new opportunity to represent the MVC and proudly wear purple and gold.
