Hometown: Excelsior, MN

Education: University of St. Thomas - School of Entrepreneurship

Occupation: Competitive dance instructor and choreographer.

First Job: For my first job, I was an assistant teacher at my dance studio.

Dance background: I have been dancing since I was 3, but focused most of my training on ballet. I was a member of a local ballet company called La Danse Fatal, studied at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. and traveled to New York, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Las Vegas, and Myrtle Beach for various conventions, classes, and competitions.

Favorite type of music: I am a choreographer so music is my life. I am most inspired by artists like Sleeping at Last, Adele, and Florence and the Machine. They bring out the true art form and poetry of music.

Favorite phone app: My favorite app right now is Pic Stitch!

Celebrity crush: I've always loved Johnny Depp!

Junk Food weakness: My junk food weakness is definitely cookie dough.

I've always wanted to: I've always wanted to go to a Vikings vs. Packers game at Lambeau Field!

One place I would love to travel to: I would love to make the trek to Australia.

Off the field, I spend my free time: When I'm not dancing or working I try to spend as much time as a can with my 2 year old puppy named Wrigley!

Best beauty secret: The best beauty secret I have is to never skip moisturizing. It keeps your skin soft and young.

Favorite thing to do in Mpls: I love to walk around the Minneapolis lakes with Wrigley or go boating.

Favorite restaurant in Mpls: My favorite Minneapolis restaurant is Kinkaid's – it’s the best!

My hidden talent is: Ballet!

One thing I wish I was great at: I wish I was great at running! I've always struggled with long distance running, but someday I hope to run a half-marathon!

Dream job: I am so lucky to be living my dream as a dance teacher and choreographer. I get to inspire and encourage kids everyday!

Greatest achievement: My greatest achievement was placing third in The University of St. Thomas-School of Entrepreneurship's annual business plan competition.

Best thing about being an MVC: The best thing about being an MVC is, hands down, the people you meet. Every day I feel so lucky to have teammates that are my best friends and coaches/staff that are role models and mentors.
