President – Catherine Loose |
![]() |
Catherine began her career with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders in 1997 after graduating from Drake University with a degree in Public Relations. In 1998, she worked for the Minnesota Vikings as the Plaza Manager where she coordinated all events outside of the Metrodome for each home game which included; booking bands, hiring food vendors and entertainment, and hosting corporate hospitality parties. Although she truly enjoyed working for the organization, Catherine missed cheerleading and returned to the MVC the following season in 1999. Some of her favorite memories include her first pre-game practice on the field, volunteering at charity events, and the sheer thrill of standing in the tunnel with her fellow cheerleaders at the start of game as the huge Vikings ship inflated and the crowd cheered. Catherine is currently the Public Relation Manager for a company in downtown Minneapolis where she is responsible for event planning, media and community relations. She lives in Minnetonka with her husband and cherishes the opportunity to be able to give back to the MVC through the Executive Committee. She believes being a part of the committee at its inception is a true honor, and is looking forward to the future development of the MVC Alumni. |

Secretary – Allison Drusch |
![]() |
Allison started her career with the Vikings Cheerleaders in 1999 as an upper deck cheerleader and by the end of the year was moved to the sidelines team. She was team captain for 2 years, 2003 Pro Bowl Cheerleader and the first ever cover model for the MVC swimsuit calendar. Allison still laughs about all the little bloopers and experiences she had while traveling throughout the US, Canada and Mexico with the MVC. Probably the most humorous is when her suitcase flew out the back of a speeding van while rushing to the airport in Canada; the driver was running late as he had to fulfill a fellow teammate's request for an ice cream stop. Allison has many wonderful memories as an MVC and says the most important are all of the friendships that she gained, especially one of her best friends Erika. Allison is the co-owner of LifeCore Yoga, a state of the art Yoga studio in North Oaks, MN. She is grateful to serve the northern communities by spreading the many benefits and joys of Yoga. |

Laura Reed (Westberg) – VP of Communications |

Laura was a cheerleader for 6 years for the MVC, from the 2002-2007 seasons. She was a team captain for 3 years, featured cover model of the 2008 calendar, and also was blessed to be the 2007 season MVC of the Year and 2008 Pro Bowl Cheerleader. Some of her best friends were made during her MVC years and she considers herself one of the proudest MVC alumni. One of her favorite trips was visiting Germany on a USO-style tour to support the troops and perform with the Beach Boys with fellow MVC Brandi and Theresa. Laura currently teaches MVC prep classes each March with fellow alumni, Stephanie. Remaining a part of the program is a huge passion and honor for Laura so she is very excited to hold this new alumni position. Laura currently works as an Account Coordinator and enjoys hanging out with her husband, playing with their two Brussels Griffons and two cats, and trying new recipes. |

Supporting the Current MVC
In our first year we presented the current MVC with purple bags filled with goodies and a fabulous banner for them to hang in the locker room at home games that reads, “You Make Us Proud! Love, the MVC Alumni.” We would like to present the new team with something each year, so please let us know if you have an idea or something to contribute as a gift.
Directory
We continue to gather addresses and emails for our MVC alumni, and our active alumni continue to be our best resources to find these names. So, each time you reconnect with an alumnus and they send us their address, be sure they submit your name as their recruiter to govikesaluni@yahoo.com.
