Professional Biography

Signed by the Vikings off Cincinnati practice squad on 11/22/06 on the same day veteran FB Tony Richardson was placed on injured reserve with forearm fracture…Orinally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Bengals, signed on 5/5/06…Spent the opening 10 weeks of the 2006 season on the Bengals practice squad…Went to training camp with Cincinnati and was released in final roster cuts on 9/2/06, then signed to the Bengals’ practice squad on 9/4/06.

NFL History

•    Saw 1st career game action in 2007, playing in 10 contests.
•    Had a career-best 4 carries for 10 yards vs. Oakland (11/10).
•    Made NFL debut in 2007 opener vs. Atlanta (9/9) as a backup FB and on special teams. Carried the ball for the 1st time in his career with 2 rushes for 3 yards.  Also posted a special teams tackle.
•    Inactive for game vs. San Diego (11/4), @ Green Bay (11/11), @ San Fran. (12/9) and vs. Wash. (12/21).
•    Tough-nosed blocker and ball carrier beat the odds to make the Vikings 2007 roster.

Family are natives of Tonga, but he was born in California before moving to Utah as a child…Was out of football from 2000-03 while serving a Mormon mission in Jacksonville, FL…Attended Granger High in West Valley City, Utah…Named the USA Today Player of the Year for the state of Utah as a senior…Set a state record for rushing TDs…Ran for over 5,700 yards as a prep player.
