2008 Handled long-snapping duties in all 16 games and the Wild Card Playoff vs. Philadelphia (1/4/09)…Delivered the ball to the legs of K Ryan Longwell and P Chris Kluwe who both set new team records in 2008…Snapped for Longwell’s team-record 6 FGs of 50+ yards and his 3 game-winning kicks…Helped Kluwe break team-records for single-season gross punting average, punts of 50+ yards in a game and punts of 50+ yards in a season…Contributed to the coverage units with 5 special teams tackles.

2007 Helped P Chris Kluwe set team records for most punts inside the 20 in a season with 34 and most punts of 50+ yards in a season with 29...Snapped on Ryan Longwell’s game-winning 55-yard FG at Chicago (10/14), tied for the 2nd-longest FG in team history...Notched 3 tackles on special teams.

2006 Played in every game and handled all of the longsnapping duties…Snapped on Ryan Longwell’s game-winning 31-yard FG with 1:00 left to play in the season opener at Washington (9/11)…Followed that up the next week by being the snapper for Longwell’s 19-yard FG in OT win over Carolina (9/17) and also on the fake FG that Longwell threw a 16-yard TD pass to Richard Owens.

2005 Played in every regular season game, handling all long-snapping duties…Helped Paul Edinger tie a Vikings’ record with 3 FGs of 50+ yards (56, 54, 54)…Snapped on Edinger’s team-record and career-long 56-yard game-winning FG vs. Green Bay (10/23)…Was a part of all 3 gamewinning kicks by Edinger…Snapped for rookie punter Chris Kluwe, who led all NFL rookie punters and ended his first season ranked 2nd in the NFC and 6th in the NFL with a 44.1-yard average…Helped Kluwe become the only Vikings’ rookie to ever earn a Player of the Month honor when he was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September...Led the team with 2 special teams stops at Cincinnati (9/18).

One of the most active Vikings players in the Twin Cities community…Donates time to Special Olympics Minnesota and Kids Voting Minnesota…Participated in the emergency clothing drive for Hurricane Katrina victims and the team’s 2nd annual “Vikings and Friends” holiday party to benefit families from the Salvation Army…Partnered with teammate Chris Kluwe to encourage underprivileged children receiving glasses through LensCrafters “Give the Gift of Sight” program…Participated in the 3rd annual Pat W. Smith, Sr.Memorial Hunt to benefit the LeSueur County Sheriff’s Youth Program...Active with Lonestar Paralysis Foundation…Is an avid hunter and fisherman…Spends offseason in Austin, TX…Member of the Big 12 Academic Honor Roll 4 times during his time at Texas…Teammate of Vikings’ CB Cedric Griffin at Texas…Played for Minnesota Golden Gophers coach Tim Brewster at Texas...Married during 2006 offseason to Jardin, the couple had a daughter, Landyn, in December 2007.
