Terrance Gray returns to the Vikings in 2008 for his 3rd season as a Regional Scout for the team and handling BLESTO scouting duties. In his role Gray will scout the central region of the country for the Vikings.Gray comes to the Vikings from the Kansas City Chiefs where he served as the club’s area scout of National Football Scouting (NFS) during the 2005 season and in preparation for the 2006 Draft. Prior to moving into scouting, Gray was the Chiefs Player Development Coordinator and worked in personnel from June 2003 to June 2005. As a scout with Kansas City, Gray covered the Southwest.Gray got his start in the NFL as an intern in 2002-03 in the League office working with Player and Employee Development and focused on the NFL’s Continuing Education Program. Before his opportunity with the NFL, Gray worked as a student assistant in the Oregon State University’s athletic department in academic affairs as he finished his bachelor’s degree in 2002.Gray was a CB at Oregon State in 1999 and 2000 after transferring from Palomar (CA) Junior College where he was an All-America honoree and team captain. At Oregon State Gray was part of one of the Beavers’ best seasons in school history as a senior, going 11-1 and ending the season ranked #4 in the nation after a 41-9 win over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. Gray played under former NFL head coach Dennis Erickson while at OSU.A standout QB at Bayside High in Queens, NY, was the team MVP and a 1st-Team All-Queens choice by the New York Daily News. Gray and his wife, Kimberly, reside in Kansas City.
