Professional Biography

Phil Huebner enters his 11th season with the Vikings as the Director of Ticketing and Hospitality in 2008.

Since October 1998, Huebner has overseen and revamped the successful Vikings Ticket Sales and Operations Departments, which are responsible for customer service and the sale of season, group and individual tickets along with hospitality packages. In 1999 season ticket sales were capped at 60,000, an increase of 17,000 from the 1998 season, and a waiting list was started.

Entering the 2008 season the Minnesota Vikings have sold out 104 consecutive pre-season, regular season and playoff games. The three largest home crowds in team history have been during Huebner’s tenure, including the teamrecord 64,482 fans who watched the Vikings battle Green Bay on 11/2/03.The Vikings have topped the 500,000 mark for home attendance in each of the past 10 seasons, setting the franchise record at 513,437 in 2003.

Huebner joined the team in 1998 after 12 years with the Minnesota Twins. While at the Minnesota Twins, Huebner worked in various sales positions with the final two years as the Director of Sales.

A 1986 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Huebner has a bachelor’s degree in political science. Huebner and wife, Debbie, have two children, Rebecca and Bret, and reside in Andover.
