Professional Biography

The 2008 season will be J.P. Paul’s 6th season with the Vikings organization and his 4th season as the team’s Director of Private Suites Sales and Service.

As part of his responsibilities, Paul oversees all sales and operational aspects of the Metrodome’s Private Suites not only for Vikings games, but for Minnesota Twins and University of Minnesota football games as well. Paul also acts as the Vikings Suite liaison with Aramark and Centerplate, which provide catering services and merchandise fulfillment, respectively, for the Private Suites.

Under Paul’s leadership, the Vikings also introduced the Samsung Legends Club and TicketExchange Touchdown Club. These exclusive Premium Seating areas were the first of their kind in the Metrodome’s history.

With sales and customer service experience in the medical and telecommunications industries, Paul most recently developed and managed the premium seating program for a Chicagoland sports arena development company prior to joining the Vikings. A member of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors, he also served as the NFL’s 2007 Premium Seating Committee Chairman and is a member of the Downtown Minneapolis Rotary. A lifelong sports fan and participant, he played Division I collegiate baseball at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

J.P. and his wife, Megan, reside in Chaska with their three sons, Ryan, Matthew and Nicholas.
