The 2008 season will mark Chad Lundeen’s third in his current role as Director of Operations-Stadium and Team Logistics. Lundeen will serve as the Vikings’ point person for training camp, home games at the Metrodome and for the logistics of off-season mini-camps.Lundeen has been associated with the team since 1998 when he did an internship with the club and was hired full time in 2000 with duties in Operations and Community Relations. In recent years Lundeen has handled the Vikings’ training camp efforts at Minnesota State University, Mankato.Already familiar with the Mankato scene, Lundeen was a natural fit. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from MSU and exemplified the model of the student-athlete. A four-year competitor on the Maverick hockey team, Lundeen was a summa cum laude graduate and a recipient of MSU’s prestigious Preska Scholarship, presented annually to a top student who is involved actively in campus life. Lundeen earned the Team Leadership Award for his efforts in hockey as a junior. Lundeen continued his education at MSU as a graduate assistant in the athletics department and earned his master’s degree in sports management.A 1993 graduate of Little Falls (MN) High, Lundeen and wife, Linsday, reside in Chaska. His uncle, Dwight Lundeen, is one of the most successful high school football coaches in state history at Becker High.
