Aaron Neumann has been around Vikings football since 1989 when he began with the club as a ball boy during training camp.
Neumann has worked with 32-year Vikings Equipment Manager Dennis Ryan since 1998 and was hired as the Vikings Assistant Equipment Manager in 2000.
The Vikings’ equipment staff has the difficult and often overlooked job of outfitting and maintaining all the equipment, uniforms and apparel for the Vikings players and football staff on a daily basis.
The Neumann name is familiar in Vikings circles as Aaron’s uncle, Larry Neumann, was an athletic trainer for the team in the 1980s and 1990s before he passed away.
A native of Winsted, MN, Neumann attended Mankato State University before transferring to Concordia University-St. Paul, where he was a 3-year football letter winner.
Neumann is a graduate of Winsted Holy Trinity High School and is married to Tammy. The couple resides in Shakopee with their son, Frank.
