Hello Minnesota Vikings Fans!
This is Pamela, a 5th year Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader and 2nd year team Captain. I’m here at Winter Park, where the Minnesota Vikings fans have shown up in full force to kick off the beginning of the 2008 season! I’m so excited to share my perspective on the draft throughout the day.
The draft has not yet officially started, but I am jazzed about the move to acquire Pro Bowl defensive end Jared Allen. The acquisition of Allen makes the Minnesota Vikings defensive line arguably the best in the NFL. Pro Bowl defensive tackles Kevin Williams and Pat Williams will certainly continue to be a force to be reckoned with against the run. And with the addition of the elite pass rush pressure from Allen, the Vikings opponents will be hard pressed to find a way to effectively run or pass the ball against them. Allen also offers big play potential with his proven ability to force fumbles and deflect passes. This will definitely be an exciting year to watch and cheer on the Minnesota Vikings defensive line!
