Good Afternoon Vikings Fans!This will be my second and final posting today, and what a day it has been so far! The best fans in the NFL gave a warm and enthusiastic welcome to Jared Allen as he made an appearance at the Draft Party. Soon thereafter, the fans settled in to watch the clock begin to tick…The first two picks of the draft were exciting to watch, as the top offensive line and defensive line prospects- Jake Long and Chris Long, went the Dolphins and Rams respectively. The Falcons addressed their needs at the QB position with the selection of Matt Ryan, and the Raiders rounded out the top four picks of the 2008 NFL Draft with RB Darren McFadden. One of my favorite parts of the Draft Party is being able to hear immediate feedback from the fans about the selections around the NFL. However, every fan I encountered today was so pumped about the seeing Allen in a Vikings jersey that it was impossible to pick their brains about the action across the league. I look forward to the Vikings 2nd Round pick later tonight- I know the organization will make the best decision and continue to the Vikings on the path to a successful 2008 season!See you at the Dome!-Pamela
