2008 Sweepstakes Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. This sweepstakes is open to Minnesota residents, 21 years of age or older as of the day upon which they enter. Void outside the U.S. and where prohibited.
Promotion begins Saturday, September 1, 2008, and ends Sunday, November 23, 2008, at 11:59:59 PM (“Promotional Period”).
Eligibility: To enter the Ultimate Football Party promotion, you must be at least 21 years old on the date of entry AND a Minnesota resident. VOID outside the U.S., and where prohibited. Employees of the MillerCoors, Miller Distributors, Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC, Vibes Media, LLC, or their affiliates, parent companies, promotion marketing agencies, their participating vendors, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, any contractors working directly on this promotion and the immediate family members or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate.
To Enter and participate in the TXT Messaging Promotion: Fans will be asked to enter via text messaging. TXT message entries must be received between September 1, 2008 and November 23, 2008 (“Entry Period”). This promotion is open to all wireless carriers.
a) To enter using text messaging. During the Promotional Period, fans may text the word VIKINGS to the short code 645537. When the text message is sent, you will receive a message asking to verify that you are at least 21 years of age. You will need to respond via text message verifying that you are at least 21 years of age. Once you respond, you will be entered in the promotion. You will receive a confirmation text message. If you enter by text messaging, you must have a valid mobile telephone number and account with a wireless provider, and you must have a text messaging two-way capable handset and digital service. Text message charges apply and vary by carrier. Text messaging not available in all areas. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotional Period.
b) Alternative method of entry without using text messaging: Fans who wish to enter the sweepstakes for free without sending a text message may enter via mail by sending a post card containing name, address, telephone number and age to: Miller Lite Super Party Sweepstakes, 9520 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Fans may enter as many times as desired during the Entry Period.
All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, as defined below, and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Winners will be notified on or prior to November 24, 2008. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, invalid, or unintelligible entries, which will be disqualified. No facsimiles, mechanical reproductions, alterations or forged entries are permitted.
Game Prize
Four (4) Finalists will be selected during the promotion. Finalist will be selected on the following dates from the specified pool of entries:

All finalists will receive two (2) tickets to the Vikings vs. Chicago game on November 30th at 7:15 pm at the Metrodome. All finalists will have the opportunity to take part in an on-field contest. The winner of the on-field contest will win the Ultimate Football Party which will take place at the winner’s home on Sunday, December 14th from 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM during the Vikings at Arizona game. The prize package will include catering for twenty (20) guests, visits from Vikings Alumni player John Randle and four (4) Vikings Cheerleaders, and 42” Samsung HDTV.
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the prizes being awarded: $4,000
By participating, entrants agree the decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received for each drawing. No prize or cash substitutes, transfer, or assignment of prizes permitted, except a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted at MillerCoors / Minnesota Vikings discretion.
All other expenses are the responsibility of the winner and guest. Prize Winners and guests are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any other expenses and costs not expressly listed above. Taxes on the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner and winner agrees to provide a W-9 Tax form. Text messaging service is not available in all areas.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating in this Promotion all entrants authorize Sponsor with their text messaging address, if any. Promotion is intended for participation in the United States only and shall be construed only according to United States law. Entrants agree the Promotion is governed by Illinois law. By participating in the Promotion you authorize Vibes Media, LLC to communicate with you by text messaging. Prizewinners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Consent, and Liability Release or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree: (1) Sponsor and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, and advertising/sweepstakes agencies may use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, visual and/or audio likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes, and for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification; and (2) to release and hold harmless MillerCoors, Vibes Media, LLC, Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC and the National Football League and its member teams, NFL Properties, Inc. and each of their respective advertising and sweepstakes agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with participation in this Promotion, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: If you enter by text messaging, you must have a valid mobile telephone number (MTN) and account or an MTN and account with a wireless provider. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the MTN. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned a MTN by a wireless provider. Any other attempted form of entry not specified herein is prohibited; no automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted.
Sponsor and each of their respective affiliates, partners and sweepstakes and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, which may occur in the processing of the entries or distribution of prizes in this Promotion or which may limit one's ability to enter the Promotion, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's handset, relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes should it determine, in its sole discretion, that any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor will select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be entering the Sweepstakes from locations outside the United States. Additionally, Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.
WINNERS' NAMES & OFFICIAL RULES: The names of the winners may be obtained, by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Ultimate Football Party, 9520 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Requests for winners' names or Official Rules must be received by January 15, 2009.
