Fans, be sure to come out to the Alltel Vikings Training Camp on opening day to get the first introduction of the 2008 Minnesota Vikings! Following the afternoon practice, players and coaches will introduce themselves to fans in Blakeslee Stadium. Lucky fans may be able to catch an autographed mini-football from a member of the 2008 Vikings!
2008 Alltel Vikings Training Camp will feature two night practices presented by your Northland Ford Dealers.
On Saturday, July 26, the Vikings practice will begin at 7pm. Vikings Village will be open 3pm-10pm.
On Saturday, August 2, Vikings Village will play host to Family Football Night including youth clinics, Vikings alumni and cheerleader autographs, and fireworks! For more information on this evening, click here.

The Minnesota Vikings encourage all fans to be in attendance on August 1 to register for their chance to show off their football abilities in a skills challenge. Twelve lucky individuals will be chosen at random to try and catch a pass, field a kickoff, or attempt to catch a punt from a Vikings player. Just for being chosen, winners will receive a Vikings prize pack. If participants are successful in completing their task, they will receive two tickets to the pre-season game versus Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 23! Don’t miss your chance to participate in this unique opportunity!
Can’t get enough Vikings? Then visit the Turn it Purple tailgate event at Alltel’s Madison Avenue store from 1-4 PM Sunday, August 3rd. Get an autograph from defensive linebacker Chad Greenway from 2-3 p.m., meet Viktor the mascot as well as the Vikings Cheerleaders. There will be plenty of free prizes available including suite tickets to the Vikings preseason game vs. the Steelers, autographed merchandise, and your own customized Alltel Vikings Training Camp T-Shirt.
