Game Summary
After falling 30-17 last week to the undefeated Tennessee Titans, the Minnesota Vikings (1-3) will stay on the road for the second consecutive week, this time facing the New Orleans Saints (2-2) in the Vikings second Monday Night game of the 2008 season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (CT) from the Superdome.
The Vikings have won the last three games between the two teams and seven of the last 10. Monday night’s game features a 3rd-ranked Saints offense that is averaging 414.3 yards per game against a 6th-ranked Vikings defense that has allowed just 279.3 yards a game thus far.
The Vikings have a combined 24-24 all-time record in their 48 games on MNF, including the 2008 season opener, when the Vikings fell 24-19 to the Green Bay Packers. This will be the first time the Vikings have played the Saints on Monday Night Football.

history with nine 100-yard games. He’s currently tied with Bill Brown for 4th all-time with 8.
- LB E.J. Henderson can move into 4th place all-time among Vikings LBs with one sack.
- QB Gus Frerotte needs 396 passing yards to have 20,000 for his career (including playoffs).
- RB Adrian Peterson needs 239 rushing yards to have 2,000 for his career.
