This past June, members of the 2008-2009 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders traveled to the annual All P-R-O Convention in Atlanta, GA. There they met other members of the cheerleading world. Cheerleaders from the NFL, NBA, as well as the NHL joined together to learn and share new creative routines. As an extra special treat, the MVC’s very own head coach Tami Krause was a guest choreographer. In Tami’s classes, cheerleaders learned routines that were reminiscent of classic NFL glamour.
The convention started on Friday and ended Sunday. Each day consisted of three master dance classes with a fashion show hosted by The Line Up, in which the MVC had the privilege of participating in. It was hard to say goodbye to old and new friends after such a great weekend, but the MVC’s were eager to take the hot new choreography they learned back home to the Metrodome.
Come this fall to cheer on the Vikings and be sure to watch for some of these amazing new routines from your Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders in the end zone! Go Vikes!
