Iowa City Flood Relief Event

On Friday, July 18, Minnesota Vikings Owner Zygi Wilf and LB Chad Greenway will travel to Iowa City, Iowa, to show their support for the residents of Iowa City and Cedar Rapids who were affected by the recent devastating flooding.

 

From 11:00 a.m. – noon, Wilf and Greenway, along with Vikings fans, staff members and cheerleaders, will remove debris and clean up the Iowa City Boys Baseball fields at the City Park in Iowa City (200 East Park Road).

 

Following the cleanup efforts, Wilf and Greenway will present a $30,000 contribution from the Minnesota Vikings/the Wilf family and Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation to the United Way of Johnson County Flood Relief Fund. Greenway will also be available to sign autographs at the end of the visit.

 

The Vikings, Wilf and Greenway would like to encourage Vikings fans to show their support and assist in the cleanup. Please use the Lower City Park entrance and park on the City Park side of the baseball diamonds.
