2007 Season Information

The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders Junior Cheerleaders (JR MVC) program is designed specifically to promote self-esteem, pride, commitment and discipline among young women ages 5 - 14 years old. This program offers a rare and special opportunity to perform during a pre-game production for over 64,000 Minnesota Vikings fans at the Metrodome. Junior MVC will participate in clinics taught by the 2007 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders and will have the opportunity to be involved in other activities or programs during the year. Participants are divided into small groups by their age and work closely with their "big sister" MVC. No tryouts are required! This program is tailored to girls of all ages and ability levels.

2007 Junior Cheer Costume

• * A full refund will be given if the program fills and your registration can not be accepted!!
• Participants must be 5 - 14 years old. NO DANCERS UNDER AGE 5 will be allowed!
• As a member of the Jr. Cheerleader program you will receive 2 free tickets (location = on-field seating/ one ticket for the JR and one for the parent/guardian). All other tickets much be purchased on your own through the ticket office. We do not have a special rate for regular season games or tickets blocked off.
• November 1st is the registration deadline! Don't delay! We will accept the first 150 registrations. We will keep the JR MVC website section active if we still have room for more registrations.

Rehearsal Dates:
All rehearsals are mandatory!
Thursday, November 29th – 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Friday, November 30th – 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Saturday, December 1st – 5 – 8 PM
Rehearsal Location: Winter Park Field House in Eden Prairie, MN. Please enter through the loading dock garage door off of Washington Ave. WEAR/BRING A JACKET!!

-Exit 169 North
-Exit Valley View Rd. Turn left onto Valley View Rd.
-Turn left onto Washington Ave.
-The Winter Park Field House facility will be on your right side.
-Please enter through loading dock door off of Washington Ave.
You may park along Washington Avenue on the West side of the road. Follow the No Parking areas though.

Performance Date:
Sunday, December 2nd Vikings vs. Detroit Lions – 12 noon kickoff., includes pre-game rehearsal and performance.

*Times, directions and further details will be given out during the week's rehearsals. Plan to arrive at the Metrodome on game day at approx 9 am for a pre-game rehearsal.

Participation Fee:
$150-265 - more details and inclusions listed on the registration form. A new costume design will be offered to the program every other season in an attempt to save you money! A sibling discount is available also. Good for siblings only, not relatives, etc. See registration form for more pricing details.

MVC Junior Cheerleader Package includes:

• An official MN Vikings Junior Cheerleader T-shirt ($28 retail value)
• Set of official JR MVC poms ($20 retail value)
• Official JR MVC replica costume with go-go boots/spats ($164 retail value) - ONLY if you are new to the program!!!
• Game day ticket for participant and for (1) parent/guardian. 2 total seats ($120 retail value) A game day snack is provided for the dancer.
• One-on-one coaching by members of the current MVC team and the MVC's coaching staff during the clinics/rehearsals!
• Official pre-game choreography & performance during a professional production. (Retail value -priceless!)
• Pictures and autographs with the current Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders.
• Official certificate of participation in the 2007 MN Vikings Junior Cheerleading Winter Program.

Rules & Regulations

• No tryouts required!
• Bring a water bottle for practices. No food is allowed in the field house during rehearsals! Please eat before arriving.
• Register by November 1st.
• No refunds on money, t-shirts, costumes, JR merchandise or alterations on sizing will be allowed. Refunds will only be issued to participants sending registrations - should the program be full.
• Parents must pick-up and drop-off their child each day. A matching wristband will be issued at the time of drop-off each day. Parents will be asked to leave during actual rehearsal time. All practices are closed to the public.

2007 Junior Cheerleader Notes

Registrations and Video orders can be mailed to the JR Cheerleader address listed on the order form.
You may order a video tape or DVD of the pre-game performance with the video order form. The video/DVD will be a game day performance video and we do not guarantee that every child will be filmed. (See registration form)

A confirmation letter of your acceptance into the program (based on a first come, first serve policy) will be sent out by November 19th. A confirmation will not be sent before this date. If you don't hear from us until then, assume you were accepted and your registration was received. Please only call AFTER November 19th - if you have not received confirmation details. The confirmation mailing will include more detailed information, times, etc. about rehearsals

Junior MVC Cheerleader merchandise will be available! The official Junior Cheerleader items like the warm up suits, parent T-shirt, hair bows, etc. will be optional add-ons. Please see registration form for more details.

There will be a parent meeting to review and discuss the game day events and the activities for the week. These will be held at the beginning or end of practices and times and dates will be outlined in your confirmation mailing. Plan to attend!
- Reminder: additional tickets are not available thru the Winter JR MVC Program for game day. You can purchase tickets thru the ticket office for guests/family that want to attend the game. 612-33-Vikes
